Dear Internet,
I suppose I should introduce my self! My name is Ylena, I'm 16 I have several chronic conditions (because one isn't enough to handle on its own. Obviously.). I have POTS (Postuaral orthostatic tachicardia), EDS(Ehlors Danlos syndrome Type iii) as well as mild Gastroparesis and a hyperactive thyroid.all of which make for an interesting and sometimes amusing (for everyone else) combination.i also have chronic pain and chronic nausea. All of this happened fairly recently. I was hospitalised on July 25 2014 after collapsing and was diagnosed several weeks later. From there on everything seemed to roll slowly down hill.
I decided to make this blog for several reasons;
1. I wanted to share some of my experiences as a teen Potsie in the hopes that it helps someone else in my position
2. I spend lots of time in hospitals surrounded with either screaming baby's or snoring geriatrics and I therefore need something to help keep my sanity in tact
3. I also have many long crazy rants and I need somewhere to put them down :p
I love all things marvel and courtesy of two of my very close friends (you now who you are x) I am addicted to almost everything marvel, those same friends have also turned me into a sherlock freak but I'm not complaining. I also love music! I will listen to almost everything as long as it has a half decent riff and good lyrics.
I am Hoping to post every Monday and Thursday. My post will probably be quite eclectic, a general mix of things, from conversations I've had with other teens to things I have experienced during my week. I apologise in advance for any rambling that may or may not occur.Anyway that's all I have time for right now!
